Three things decide what a move costs: the van, the crew and the hours. Everything else is either included or quoted separately and agreed before the day.

What moves the price
Van
Small van, Transit or Luton. The bigger the load, the bigger the van.
Crew
Driver only or up to three helpers at £20/hr each. More hands means fewer hours.
Hours
2-hour minimum, then 30-minute steps at the hourly rate.
Distance
First 10 journey miles included, then £1.50 a mile.
Stairs and parking
No stair fee, but several floors or a long walk from the van takes longer.
Packing
Unfinished packing and furniture to dismantle are the usual causes of overruns.
