Terms & Conditions

The terms that apply when you use our website and book removals, packing or storage services with Phi Movers.

Last updated: 1 July 2026Phi Movers Ltd

1.About these terms

These Terms & Conditions form the agreement between you and Phi Movers Ltd (“we”, “us”). They apply to your use of https://phimovers.co.uk and to any quote, booking or service you receive from us. By using our website or booking a service, you accept these terms.

Please read them carefully and save a copy for your records. If anything is unclear, contact us before booking.

2.Using our website

You may use our website for lawful purposes only. You agree not to misuse it, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or introduce anything harmful. Content on the site is provided for general information and may change without notice.

3.Quotes & estimates

Quotes are based on the information you give us about your move. They are valid for the period stated and assume reasonable access at both addresses. If the actual job differs materially from what was described — for example extra items, difficult access, waiting time or parking restrictions — the price may be adjusted, and we will tell you before any additional charge applies where possible.

4.Bookings, deposits & payment

  • A booking is confirmed once you accept your quote and we acknowledge it.
  • A deposit may be required to secure your date; the balance is due as set out in your booking confirmation.
  • We accept the payment methods shown at checkout. Prices include VAT where applicable.
  • We reserve the right to withhold delivery of goods until outstanding payment is received.

5.Your responsibilities

To help your move go smoothly and safely, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate details about your items, addresses and access.
  • Arrange parking and any permits or lift bookings needed at both properties.
  • Ensure items are ready and, unless you have booked our packing service, properly packed.
  • Be present (or appoint someone) to give directions and check nothing is left behind.

Items we cannot move

For safety and legal reasons we cannot transport certain items, including hazardous or flammable materials, illegal goods, perishable food, plants, or live animals. Please tell us in advance about high-value items so appropriate cover can be arranged.

6.Our service

We will carry out your move with reasonable care and skill, using suitably trained crews. We will handle your belongings responsibly and aim to arrive within the agreed window. Timings are estimates and can be affected by traffic, weather and access.

7.Liability, insurance & claims

We carry Goods in Transit and Public Liability insurance. In the unlikely event of loss or damage caused by our negligence, our liability is limited as set out in your booking documentation and subject to the terms of our insurance.

  • Claims must be notified in writing as soon as possible, and normally within 7 days of delivery.
  • We are not liable for damage to items packed by you (owner-packed cartons), unless caused by our negligence.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for delays outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

8.Cancellations & rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your booking by contacting us. Charges may apply depending on how much notice you give, as set out in your booking confirmation. Where you have a statutory right to cancel under consumer regulations, we will honour it.

9.Events outside our control

We are not responsible for failure or delay caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, accidents, road closures, strikes or other force majeure events. If such an event occurs, we will contact you to arrange a new time.

10.Intellectual property

All content on our website — including text, logos, images and design — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by law. You may not reproduce it without our permission.

11.Complaints & governing law

We hope you'll be delighted with your move. If something goes wrong, please see our Complaints Procedure. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of England and Wales.

12.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your booking is the one in force when you place it. Continued use of our website means you accept the current terms.
