Fridges, washers, dryers and dishwashers need careful handling — tipping a fridge the wrong way or scratching a kitchen can ruin the day. Our appliance delivery service moves white goods across London and positions them where you need them.
Deliveries start from around £50 depending on the appliance, floors and distance. We protect floors and doorways, use the right straps and trolleys, and can help with disconnect/reconnect of simple plug-in units when agreed (plumbing and gas stay with a qualified tradesperson).

Moving fridges and American fridge freezers
Fridges should travel upright wherever possible, because laying them flat can let compressor oil move into the cooling pipes. Once delivered, most manufacturers recommend leaving the fridge standing for a few hours before switching it on — check your manual, as some say longer if it was tilted in transit.
American-style fridge freezers are typically around 90cm wide and close to 180cm tall, which is wider than a standard 76cm internal door. Many will only pass through once the doors are removed. Measure your doorways before you buy and tell us the model, so we know whether to plan door removal or a different route.

Washing machines, dryers and dishwashers
Washing machines must travel with their transit bolts fitted — the bolts lock the drum so it can’t swing and damage the suspension. If you still have them, fit them before we arrive (they go in the back of the machine where they were removed at installation). If they’re lost, replacement sets for most brands are inexpensive and easy to order by model number.
Drain the machine and disconnect water and waste hoses before collection. We can disconnect and reconnect simple plug-in appliances when agreed, but plumbing, waste connections and anything gas-fired need a qualified plumber or Gas Safe engineer.
Store and marketplace appliance collections
We collect appliances from retailers, warehouses and private sellers, including Facebook Marketplace and eBay listings marked collection only. For second-hand machines, ask the seller to drain and disconnect it before we arrive — waiting for a washer to drain or a freezer to defrost on the day adds time to the booking.

Appliance Delivery is charged by the hour from our published rate card, from £50: a small van and driver is £50/hr, each helper adds £20/hr, and there is a 2-hour minimum. After that, time is billed in 30-minute steps.
