You don’t always need a full packing crew — sometimes it’s just the kitchen, the glassware and the pieces you’d hate to see cracked. Our fragile-only packing service focuses on exactly that.
Experienced packers wrap crockery, glass, mirrors, pictures and valuables with proper materials and box them so they travel upright and protected. Everything else can stay as you’ve packed it.
It’s a smart middle ground: you save money by packing the easy stuff yourself, while the items most likely to break get professional care.
How professional packers pack fragile items
Plates travel on their edges, not stacked flat, with paper between each one — that’s far stronger than a pile. Glasses are filled and wrapped with paper, inside and out, and stood upright with dividers or padding. Bowls nest with paper between them, and the gaps in every box are filled so nothing can shift when it’s carried.
Mirrors and framed pictures go in picture or mirror cartons with corner protection; large mirrors and glass table tops are wrapped in blankets and travel on edge. Every box is marked fragile, with an arrow for which way is up and the room it’s going to.
