Is a man with a van in Ramsgate cheaper than van hire?

For most small moves it works out similar or cheaper once you count fuel, insurance and your own time — and the driver does the lifting with you.

What size van do you use?

Most bookings use a Luton van, which fits roughly a studio or one-bed flat. Smaller jobs may get a medium van.

Can you move us from London to a flat in Ramsgate?

Yes. At around 78 miles, most moves are done in a day. Let us know about stairs and parking, and we’ll give you a fixed price.

Moving in Ramsgate — local notes

Tall Regency and Victorian townhouses, many converted into flats, harbourside apartments, and post-war and modern estates inland.

Converted townhouses often mean several flights of narrow stairs, and the steep roads near the harbour have limited parking. Summer traffic around the seafront is heavy.
