Is a man with a van in Brighton cheaper than van hire?

For most small moves it works out similar or cheaper once you count fuel, insurance and your own time — and the driver does the lifting with you.

What size van do you use?

Most bookings use a Luton van, which fits roughly a studio or one-bed flat. Smaller jobs may get a medium van.

Can you handle a completion day move into a Kemptown flat?

Yes — we plan around key collection times and will check stairs, parking and any loading bay before the day. A 1-bed move starts from £329.

Moving in Brighton — local notes

Regency and Victorian terraces split into flats in Kemptown and around the seafront, Victorian terraced houses on the steep streets of Hanover and Seven Dials, student lets near the universities, and family homes in Hove and Patcham.

Much of central Brighton is controlled parking, so we may need a suspension or permit for loading. Apartment removals in Kemptown often mean narrow, steep staircases and no lift, and the A23 and M23 are the main routes from London.
